More Life, Less wire.
I’m going to make this quick,
I’ve been a Heat fan my whole life, since you know I’m from and raised in Miami. Yes, I’m disappointed in the lost, yes I’m upset they played like they didn’t care. But maybe it just wasn’t their time, and that’s okay.
Remember in 2005 when the team made it all the way to the eastern conference finals and they lost in game 7 in Miami? Well, the next year they won the championship. I don’t think people understand but this is this teams first year playing together, and it’s still amazing that they made it all the way to the finals.
I’m standing by my team like I did those six years ago, because I’m keeping the faith that by this time next year they’ll be bringing the trophy back home to Biscayne blvd.
The power of the media
REALLY? The Miami Heat lose one game and oh god the season is over. These three talented athletes just wasted their careers, who would think three all stars playing on the same team would work?! Oh, shut up people.
One lost doesn’t mean the end of anything, not only are there 80+ games in a season but since when does one start judging a team on the last week of October? I’m sick of the backlash the Miami Heat are getting, not only from the media, fans in other stadiums but the referees too. (Please there were many uncalled fouls on Boston tonight) The constant ‘boo’s’ being chanted by the crowd every time LeBron touched the ball was completely unnecessary.
Yes, this team is not all what the hype has made it out to be yet. It takes time for a team to develop, I mean The Celtics are good because most of those players have been on the same team for years now. The Heat are a completely new team, all new players, new coaches it takes more than a month and a half to become a championship contender.
But this game was the example the Heat needed to realize that it doesn’t matter how many good offense players you have it’s nothing without defense. The Heat better work on that as soon as possible if they are look for the wins. To end this little rant, I must end it with the media; fuck it. They are the ones that hyped this team to the fullest and with one little game they tore it to pieces, enough of the haters. I’ve been a Heat fan my whole life, and to have my team talked about in the papers and analyzed so closely on TNT is enough of a shock for a fan like me. I’m definitely not used to all the attention but I’m looking forward to this legendary season the Miami Heat will offer.
